This was a dream project come true. Shooting Qatar in full 8K. Working with the Explorers from Paris, France. But it was also a lot of work. The amount of approvals and permits. Was quite a challenge and then doing it right before the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 with all the extra security. Didn’t make it easier. But we pulled it off. Total of 70 TB of footage. Back from Rwanda. What an amazing trip. So much nature and wild life. And a different side of Africa.

Simply loved it. Stay tuned. More pictures are coming. And the first time putting my Nikon Z9 to the test. Fired off nearly 13,000 photos. That's close to 800 GB of images. Together with the videos from the GoPro. I think I have about 1 TB of content. That's a ton of photos and videos to go through. The 20 fps is just amazing when you shoot wildlife. But the settings for auto-focus continuous with various tracking mechanism and focus points are really tough to understand. The focus AI is great for some animals. But the gorillas with the black eyes on black fur. Are a test case for the camera. Probably works better for many other animals like cats and dogs.
